The Everyday Beauty

A little bit of everything, this workshop series explores poetry, embroidery, collage, soundscape and stop-motion. Have a go at learning embroidery as a mindfulness technique, use your phone to create a stop motion story, create found poems and more.
Hands-On Heritage

Wednesdays 10am-12pm at the Oasis Centre
These workshops connect participants with local history through hands-on crafting. Inspired by local heritage, you’ll create objects that bridge past and present, exploring connections between your life and those of previous generations.
Working with Clay and Wood
Led by Artists Louise & Simon Taggart from Blended Monkey
20th November – 18th December
Wednesdays 6-8pm at the Oasis Centre
Blended Monkey will guide you through different methods of working with wood and clay. From the feel of the clay to the repetitive motion of the lathe explore these natural materials to soothe your soul, quieten the mind, and improve motor skills.
