Stitch, Darn, Patch, Embellish

Discover the joy of fabric crafts with these unique workshops focused on building skills and confidence in different decorative techniques and fabric embellishment. Learn how to create your own projects, using techniques like printing or embellishing, culminating with a final decorative fabric panel.
The Everyday Beauty

Fridays 6-8pm at King Edwards Centre
A little bit of everything, this workshop series explores poetry, embroidery, collage, soundscape and stop-motion. Have a go at learning embroidery as a mindfulness technique, use your phone to create a stop motion story, create found poems and more.
Hands-on Heritage

22nd November – 20th December
Fridays 10-12pm at King Edwards Centre
These workshops connect participants with local history through hands-on crafting. Inspired by local heritage, you’ll create objects that bridge past and present, exploring connections between your life and those of previous generations.
